OUR TEAM
Kaurilands Kindergarten has five fully qualified and highly experienced teachers who make up the teaching team.
All our Teachers have had a strong degree of involvement with early childhood learning with their own children, leading them to further study and their current careers. With an open door policy, the teachers welcome discussion and communication regarding your child or the kindy programme. The quality of their relationships with the children is enhanced by the exchange of information and communication that you share with them. Please feel free to talk to the teachers at any time.

MARY DAY, Centre Manager
I feel incredibly lucky to spend my days in this amazing environment. Our team here at Kaurilands is second to none with knowledge and we are incredibly fortunate to all share the same vision for Kindy and our children’s development. I value respect, honesty and integrity and am always in awe of the sense of self-worth our teachers/kaiako instil in our children here. I have seen many changes in the 10 years I have been a part of Kaurilands and I feel we offer a unique early childhood journey for our children.
I love seeing the kids develop while they’re at kindy. You can really see their personalities shine as they gain confidence.

I really value building meaningful relationships based on trust, honesty and humour! The better the connection the richer the relationship and the more we can work together to support our tamariki at learn and grow.
I also believe that gratitude is the catalyst for joy and, for me, working at Kindy for the last 10 years is a blessing I count every day and one which brings me joy, purpose and satisfaction. My other joys are my family, a touch of yoga and enjoying nature, particularly the bush and beach.
I am proud to work at a kindy whose philosophy resonates with my own values of respect, meaningful relationships and good communication.

I enjoy meeting new people and having a chat. I take a genuine interest and care in the people around me. I value relationships built on respect, trust, friendship and fun! I am an optimist, always looking for the bright side in every situation. I enjoy setting goals and new challenges for myself. I am grateful to be surrounded by a loving family and friends and appreciate spending time with them. I love working with the children and families at kindy and feel very privileged to be in this role.
